At 93% concentration and room temperature, the corrosion rate is <0.1 mm/year, while 316L stainless steel has a corrosion rate >5 mm/year under the same conditions, a significant difference, it can operate stably for a long time in a 40% concentration sulfuric acid environment at 80℃ without frequent replacement.
At 85% concentration and 100℃, the corrosion rate is only 0.05 mm/year, comparable to the more expensive Hastelloy C276, suitable for phosphoric acid production and food-grade phosphoric acid storage.
<0.5 mm/year in 20% concentration nitric acid at boiling point, it can withstand the H₂SO₄+HCl mixed acid environment in vitamin C production, effectively resisting hydrogen embrittlement failure.
The resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking is significantly better than 304 and 316L stainless steel, and it can operate stably in environments with Cl⁻ > 1000 ppm, avoiding pipe leakage caused by pitting and crevice corrosion.

Tensile strength >=550 MPa, yield strength >=240 MPa, elongation >=30%, exhibiting a balance of strength and toughness, able to withstand high pressure and complex stress environments without easy fracture.
High-temperature performance: Strength retention rate >70% at 400℃, and can withstand high temperatures of 600℃ for short periods, suitable for medium-to-high temperature corrosive conditions, strength drops sharply above 600℃, so extreme high-temperature scenarios should be avoided.
It can undergo cold and hot working processes such as cold bending, stamping, and forging. The recommended cold rolling deformation is <=50%, and the hot working temperature should be controlled between 1100-1200℃, with a final forging temperature of >=850℃. Its machinability is superior to high-hardness nickel-based alloys, resulting in a 50% increase in tool life.
Various welding methods can be used, including TIG welding, MIG welding, and submerged arc welding. AWS A5.14 ER320LR welding wire is recommended, and the weld seam corrosion resistance is consistent with the base material. During welding, 98%Ar+2%CO₂ gas shielding should be used, and the interpass temperature should be controlled below 150℃. Post-weld heat treatment is not required, only pickling and passivation are needed to restore surface corrosion resistance.
